AA International Women's Day

Dear Friends,

As we enter the month of March, I want to take a moment to celebrate the incredible women within our dance community.  I am proud to be part of a community where women have created a path for other women to succeed, and I encourage everyone to look toward what we collectively must accomplish to reach a point where all genders thrive equally.

Throughout this month, we will celebrate the women within our dance community. International Women’s Day aim to celebrate and empower women and girls, recognizing the fact that social progress requires the active participation, equality, and development of women.  It’s key to understand that when systems encourage and reward authenticity and meaningful impact, dance thrives, arts and society thrives.
